The new year is a great time to look back on the business’s growth and successes over the past year. With the entire workforce now back in the office, this year has brought plenty of change in the services we provide and our colleagues that help to deliver them.
With another national lockdown hitting in 2021, businesses across the country shut their doors temporarily once again but not us. We hold several significant contracts for social housing works, meaning that we were listed as an essential business, and work could continue. Therefore, we stayed busy even during lockdown following governments guidance to keep our staff working safely.
Along with the increase in social housing work came more large-scale contracts and the launch of our brand-new Property Services Maintenance Division. This division exists for all our void work and multi trading contracts and has meant that we can assist more public-facing businesses/bodies when approached for work.
Finally, this increase in work also meant that we could bring more talent to the team, hiring more specialist tradesmen and team members in the office to ensure that the additional work could be completed whilst meeting our high quality of customer service and satisfaction. We also continue to support and promote apprenticeships in the business, to help bring in and develop skilled employees early in their careers.
In 2021, Project Skills Solutions committed to becoming a Net Zero carbon emissions business by 2030. You can read our entire piece on the commitment here: https://pssinstallations.co.uk/we-are-committed-to-achieving-net-zero-carbon-emissions-by-2030/
Overall, we are looking forward to 2022 and are hopeful for continued growth with the strengthened workforce created through 2021.
